FACELIFT GUIDE

How long does a facelift last?

A facelift does not expire on a particular date, and it does not stop ageing.

Surgery can produce a lasting change, but your face will continue to evolve from a different starting point. Different facial regions do not necessarily change at the same pace.

Anatomy, tissue quality, habits, sun exposure, weight changes and natural ageing influence this evolution. I do not give one number of years as an individual prediction.

Feeling recovered does not mean tissues have completed their evolution. At 6–12 months we can assess a more mature result according to surgery and the follow-up plan.

Maintenance is based on needs, not an automatic calendar. Laser, polynucleotides, skin boosters or Morpheus8 can be considered in selected patients; they do not guarantee a specific facelift duration.
