I am Dr Víctor Hidalgo, an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. The appearance of a face matters to me, and so does the person behind it.

Effort is part of my story too
Dyslexia meant some things required more effort from childhood. I learned to understand problems, break them down and seek solutions. I am not perfect. When choosing my specialty, I was drawn to one of the paths that seemed most difficult.

My training
I trained in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Hospital Universitario Son Espases in Palma and completed my specialty in 2017. Facelift surgery became central to my approach to facial surgery.

The patient who changed how I experienced facelift surgery
An early major facelift changed how I experienced this surgery. The patient told me it was the best thing that had happened to her that year. Today I would do many things differently, but since then I have tried to find that feeling again in every patient I operate on.

It is not just another operation. It is my surgery.
I plan it, perform it and follow its progress. The jawline, neck, earlobe and scar matter to me. Listening matters too: behind every face is a story.
